International Students Organization at Kutztown

The International Students Organization is an exclusive body of international students in Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. International students run the organization. It is for the international students, the Kutztown University community and the public at large.

International Student Organization has grown to become one of the primary student bodies on campus. It has developed as a non-political body whose primary goal is to be an effective avenue for addressing issues pertaining to the needs of international students. International Student Organization seeks to work with the university administration and various other departments and student organizations to ensure that the welfare and rights of international students are upheld during their course of study at the University.

Mission Statement

Membership

All Kutztown University registered students can be members of the International Students Organization. The organization will not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, creed, ethnic origin, sex, age, political persuasion, sexual preference, marital status or physical disability.

Study at Kutztown University

All registered international students are automatically the members of International Students Organization. To become an ISO member, Kutztown University registered students can sign up at any ISO event site or send application to ISO via ISO email. If you are not a member of the school yet, please e-mail us at iso@kutztown.edu.

For international students preparing to further education at Kutztown University, unique issues make the college transition process a challenging one. However, the executive members are dedicated to helping all students make the transition to higher education. One of your best resources is your school counselor. Your advisor/counselor can help you better understand yourself, your interests and your needs so you can make the decision that’s right for you.

Executive Board

The Officers of International Student Organization assists individual International students organizations in acting as the body liaison between the International students, the administration of the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, the Student union and the University as a whole. It aims to cultivate a spirit of unity and friendship among the international students at Kutztown University. The Board is comprised of several officers who have been elected by the International Students themselves. The committee elected serves as the International Students Representative.
