The Accounting program at Kutztown is set up to help prepare students for careers in a variety of areas such as financial accounting, cost accounting, accounting information systems, tax accounting and auditing. Our program is flexible enough that students have opportunities to do coursework in a number of these areas. In addition, for those students who prove themselves in the classroom, there are internship opportunities. These internships offer real-world experience in the Accounting profession. Graduates of our Accounting Program are prepared to pursue careers as Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Certified Management Accountants (CMA) or Certified Internal Auditors (CIA).
